Hunting-Gathering on the Web: This Week in Paleogastronomy, Week 22

Kudos to the “New York Times” for publishing a review, and recipe, from one of our favourite (favorite?) paleo-restos in Chicago, Publican. If you are in Chicago, go. Also, check out Kahan and Co’s other haunts, Blackbird and Avec, all amazing, and paleo-friendly. If you’re feeling really ambitions, try making their Publican Chicken.

Want some validation for your paleo-lifestlye? Read about Industrial Food, and feel healthy and morally upright.

The world, or at least Canada, is coming around. Milk consumption is on the decline, vegetables and fruit consumption is on the way up. Unfortunately for the neoliths, grain consumption is on the rise as well.

Finally, if you are feeling introspective, and wonder how we got to this state, read “Catching Fire, How Cooking Made us Human“. It sounds intriguing, your paleo-writers will check in with a book review as soon as we finish it.

Until next week.
