Back to Paleo-Reality, Dodging Swine Flu back Home
Sadly, we left paradise in the Mayan Riviera to return to the hysteria of swine flu in Chicago and Toronto. We survived the culture shock and the flu. Courtesy of my paleo-brother, I was greeted with a lean, mean spicy tuna salad upon our return.
Spicy Tuna Salad
1 can or jar of spicy Italian tuna (Callipo, or Izvea, or any decent Italian brand)
4 stalks of celery, sliced on the bias, 1/4 inch thick
Killer Olive Oil to taste
OK, nothing can be simpler. Place the celery slices in a bowl, chuck in the tuna. Toss the salad, and drizzle some olive oil on top. Fast and tasty.
Serves 2, each serving ~ 250 Cals

how does alcohol play into this diet
paleo-brothers-coworker
To paleo-fundamentalists, I don’t think alcohol plays into the diet at all.
But, my own take is that, I am sure there were many instances during the paleolithic era, that some lucky paleoliths consumend some rotting, fermenting grapes and said, “Mmmm… This is good!”
The great thing about the paleolithic diet is that everything pairs well with water.
